We are a group of women from all walks of life who are united by our passion for Middle Eastern Dance and joy and delight in sharing it with others. We dance a variety of forms from Egyptian and Turkish to Tribal fusion, often drawing on other styles including folk, Indian, salsa and flamenco.

We have learned our dance skills from and been inspired by teachers from all around the world but owe most to some very wonderful local dancers, namely Karine Butchart, Wendy Buonaventura and Jacqui Jamal.

Shameena have performed at numerous festivals and community events (eg.Ashton Court Festival, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, Bristol Community Beach and the Bristol Bike Show), charity and fund-raising events, local fairs and private parties.
